How to take screen shots on an Android phone

Are you confused about how to take a screenshot on your Android phone?
The following ways - ways you can do.

With the majority of phones and tablets being Android, the way to take screenshots is to press and hold the Volume-down button and the Power button simultaneously. An exception is for devices running versions of Android that are earlier than 4.0.

A screenshot is whatever image you see on the screen when you take a screenshot. Screenshots are very helpful when you need to show something in a remote location. You can also use an Android screenshot as a wish list for something you see on the internet that you want to have or as evidence of phishing or threatening messages.

Press the Power and Volume-Down keys Simultaneously
Google introduced the screenshot capture feature with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. If you have Android 4.0 or newer on your phone or tablet, here's how to take a screenshot on Android:

Note: The instructions below should apply to every Android such as Samsung, Google, Huawei, Xiaomi, etc.

  1. Navigate the screen you want to record with a screenshot.
  2. Press the Power button and the Volume-down button simultaneously. It may take some trial-and-error practice to master simultaneous emphasis.
  3. Hold both buttons until you hear a click when the screenshot is taken. If you don't press the button until you hear a click, your phone can turn off the screen or decrease the volume.
  4. Look for screenshots in your Photo Gallery in the Screenshots folder.

Use Internal Shortcuts on your Mobile

Some phones come with a default screenshot utility. With many types of Samsung phones, such as the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note, you can simply press the Power and Home button, hold for one second and release when the screen flickers to take a screenshot and place it in your Gallery.

To find out if your cell phone has a screenshot tool, check the manual or do a Google search for "[mobile name] take a screenshot."

There may also be a device-specific application that you can download to take screenshots and also do more with the pictures on your screen. For example, the Screen Capture Shortcut Free application  works with many Samsung devices.
With this application, you can take a catch after a delay or when you shake the phone. For other devices, search the Google Play Store for the name of your device with the keywords "screenshot," "take a screen," or "screen shot."

Use the Android SDK

You can also take Android screenshots of any compatible device by installing the Android SDK from Google on your computer.
The Android SDK is a software development tool used by developers to create and test Android applications, but it is available for free for everyone.
To use the Android SDK, you need the Java SE Development Kit, the Android SDK, and maybe a USB driver for your device (found on the manufacturer's website).
Then, you plug in your mobile, run the Dalvik Debug Monitor, which is included in the SDK, and click Device > Screen Capture... On the Debug Monitor menu.

This is a rather complicated way to take screenshots, but if nothing works or you set up the Android SDK, it's easy to use.

Install Application for Screenshots

If you don't have Android 4.0 or newer on your mobile, and don't have an internal screenshot feature, installing the Android app is the solution. Some applications require rooting your Android device, and some don't.

The No Root Screenshot This application is one application that does not require your device to be rooted, and it allows you to take screenshots via widgets, annotate and draw on screenshots, cut and share them, and more. But this application is not free, the advantage of this application is that it can be used on any Android system.
